Character VFX

In this project, I created Real-Time VFX for a combat moveset, drawing inspiration from games like Sifu and Street Fighter.

1. Leap

2. Punch

3. Kick

4. Back kick

The goal was to enhance visual feedback while complementing the animations created by Leo Jansson. Rather than overwhelming the animations with excessive effects, I focused on serving them. Ensuring that the VFX reinforced the motion and impact in a balanced way.

Breakdown

The animations and chatacter model is made by fellow TGA-student Leo Jansson Portfolio.

The dummy model is made by Anima-Z.
